Dear Mr Weaver,
We're now in the final stages of moving your TalkTalk account onto our
new and improved next generation network and billing system.
Before we can move you over we would like to advise you of a number of
updates we'll be making to your TalkTalk package in the near future.
Please read the information below for full details.
New online billing website
Over the past few months we've been working hard to improve your online
billing experience. We're happy to let you know that the new version of
My Account will be available from 13th December 2010.
Don't worry, the website address you currently use to access your bills
is not changing - we are simply updating the current billing website to
make it easier and faster to access your bills and customer information.
Once the new version of My Account is up and running, we'll email you
again and provide you with access to a comprehensive, step-by-step
online tutorial which will show how to get the most from the improved
website.
Bill notification emails
Please note, from 1st January 2011 you'll receive your online bill
notification emails from talktalk@F-eds.com. To ensure your
online bill notifications are delivered to your inbox, please add
talktalk@F-eds.com to your email address book.
You may also notice that the online bill notification emails you receive
from 1st January 2011 look slightly different. Don't worry, they will
continue to include important information and a link to My Account, so
you can continue to login and see your bills, past and present.
|
Price change notification
From December 2010 we are making some changes to our pricing. Any
changes affecting your current package can be found below. Please click here for full details.
Please also be aware the UK government will increase VAT from 17.5% to
20% from 4th January 2011. Applicable TalkTalk charges will change from
this date to include the higher rate.
 |
If your monthly payment to TalkTalk
fails, the one-off charge that's applied to your account will be £10
(from 20th December 2010). |
 |
If you pay your TalkTalk bills by
automatic monthly card payments (not one-off payments or Debit Debit), a
surcharge of 99p a month will be applied to your account each month
(from 20th December 2010). However, you can switch to Direct
Debit to avoid this fee. To move to Direct Debit, login to My
Account by clicking here, click on “Payment information“ and once the
page is loaded click on “Edit details“. |
Bill payment terms
Please note that the TalkTalk bill payment terms are changing.
From 1st January 2011 automatic monthly card payments will need to be
made 7 days after your bill is produced. Don't worry, there's nothing
you need to do, we will collect payment from you automatically.
|
|
Don't forget, once you've moved to our new and improved billing
system, you'll be able to benefit from additional great value TalkTalk
services. We'll be in touch about these in the near future.
Thank you for being a TalkTalk customer.
Yours sincerely,
Nigel Pearson
